I’m all about agency and authenticity. When I was a high school English and journalism teacher, I worked to ensure my students’ first amendment rights and now that I work with teachers, I’m eager to empower them to let go of control and put students in charge of their learning. I specialize in student-led assessment and pedagogies and don’t mind saying the things that have to be said- even if they are uncomfortable. Learning should be challenging, engaging and personalized.
