I have developed a passion over the past 5 years to promote other educator’s stories of resilience through my podcast Out of the Trenches, while also reflecting on what I have learned during my 25 years in education and its many twists and turns. Recognized as a leader within World Languages in Colorado (am currently the 24/25 Colorado Congress for Language Teachers president), I have spoken since 2017 on a variety of topics stemming from student engagement to taking charge of your own professional learning.
