Abstract:

This action research study examined how PreK–12 special education case managers deliver supports and services to students with disabilities and their families, aiming to design and implement an initiative that goes beyond systemic compliance to support individuals with disabilities holistically. Findings indicated that special education case managers experienced greater success when training, communication, and information sharing were clear, consistent, and culturally responsive across the district.
