Artificial intelligence has moved into education with remarkable speed. Applications that once seemed distant from daily teaching now assist with planning, generate explanations, recommend resources, and even propose assessment responses. Many educators describe the moment as overwhelming. Familiar routines are unsettled, expectations are shifting, and long held assumptions about expertise are being questioned. Still, technology does not educate students. Teachers do. Tools may expand access to information, but they cannot carry responsibility for human growth, ethical judgment, or the cultivation of understanding. The educator remains the professional who must interpret what is appropriate, what is accurate, and what serves the learner.
