"Great Work is about reclaiming what matters most to you and learning how to make steady progress on it without burning yourself out."

Dr. Amanda Crowell is a cognitive psychologist and the author of Great Work.

She focuses on two questions:

What is YOUR Great Work, and

Why does it matter that you do it?

And once you know these answers, how do you help the right people understand and care about it, too?

Her research and teaching focus on motivation, creativity, and the social networks that allow meaningful ideas to take hold and move.

Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, NPR, Al Jazeera, MSN, AOL and Thrive Global, and her TEDx talk has reached millions of viewers. She teaches at Hunter College in New York City.

The way we’ve been taught to understand visibility rewards activity: more posts,
more outreach, more output. Over time, that trains your audience to expect urgency and constant performance, even when your work requires context and trust.

The Great Work Visibility Lab follows a different model: ideas that matter spread through recognition.

  • Understanding builds through clarity and repetition.

  • Recognition grows through familiarity.

  • When people can explain your work to someone else, your visibility stops depending on constant output.

  • Your work begins to travel through relationships.

The Great Work Visibility Lab is where your work gains the traction it has been missing!

Join Amanda for an hour full of insights and practical applications!
